In November 1993 the Pune Stock Exchange Investor Protection Trust was formed and registered as Public Charitable Trust with appropriate authorities. The main object of the trust is to project, safe guard, guide and further the interest of the investors who transact in the securities through the members of the Stock Exchange. The exchange can settle the claims of the genuine claimants from the funds of the rust as per the decision of the Defaults Committee of the Stock Exchange. At present the 5 trustees consisting of Public Representatives Director of Pune Stock Exchange and our broker member of the exchange are appointed as trustees of the trust.
